Dr. Alaina Brelin is a highly skilled and dedicated orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint reconstruction, particularly in minimally invasive hip and knee procedures. Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Dr. Brelin's journey in medicine began at Northeast Ohio Medical University, where she earned her medical degree. She then honed her expertise through a rigorous residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and further specialized during her fellowship at Texas Orthopaedic Hospital/Fondren Orthopaedic Group in Houston, TX.

After serving as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the United States Army for five years, including a deployment to Afghanistan from November 2018 to May 2019, Dr. Brelin transitioned to civilian practice. What sets Dr. Brelin apart is her exceptional patient care and meticulous attention to detail which is a testament to her confidence and proficiency in the field. Her dedication to her craft caught the attention of Dr. Amanda Marshall-Rodriguez, founder of TruOrtho, who mentored Dr. Brelin in advanced minimally invasive techniques for hip and knee surgeries.

Dr. Brelin has recently joined TruOrtho, partnering with South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital, where she offers her expertise to patients in need. She is committed to providing comprehensive care to all, and is currently accepting new patients. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Brelin enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and engaging in outdoor activities. She is married and a proud mother of three children.
